Road flooded
Plans have been a bit disrupted. The road is closed due to flooding! Stuck in Fitzroy crossing for at least the night.
Cleo’s holiday
While we are away sweating in the desert, Cleo is having her own holiday of sorts in a local Kerikeri catery where she gets to bark at birds and mingle with other cats. We get the odd update thru letting us know how she is doing. Today we even got a photo!

Morning all from Kununarra at 6.21am where the sun and heat are out in full swing and the grasshoppers are annoying already!

Coming to you this evening from the top of the country, where it is not too hot and we are enjoyed a cold drink out in the evening breeze.
Day 8 – Threeways to Katherine
Hi all,
Have made it today to Katherine, which is 300km south of Darwin.
This morning we left Threeways (not the Crossroads, as I referred to it as yesterday) and made our way quickly north through Elliot, Newcastle waters & Daly Waters.

Day 7 – Alice Springs to the Crossroads

Coming to you tonight from Threeways, which is where the highway from Queensland meets the Stuart Highway.
As promised, some photos taken of Alice Springs. Very keen to return one day soon!
