Day 12 – More disruptions

Morning all

Just a very quick post this morning from sunny Charlottetown.

We made it to Charlottetown around 11.30pm last night local time after being in transit for 31 hours.  We have managed to lose both our bags and arrived with no car, but we have at least made it and the sun is shining today.

Sat in Montreal airport since 6am in the morning (after only getting 5 hours sleep last night as we sorted our first lost bag.  after 3 other cancelled flights we left Montreal at 6.30pm in the middle of snow storms to touch down in a place called Moncton (had never heard of it until yesterday) which seemed the only place any planes were flying to in Canada.  Here we lost out second bag (though we chose to lose this bag by changing to the flight at the last moment).

Managed to somehow get a ride with a couple also driving to the island who adopted us and didn’t like the idea of us driving ourselves to the Island (the snow on the roads was bad).  So here we are…basically caught up with where we need to be – just with no luggage.

Oh well…. first day of Anne of Green Gables exploring to look forward to.

Today’s photos are all of snow and the airport – as that is what we did all day lol
