So today was a bit of rough one for me. Not only is it the start of a trip and all the planning and stress that goes with it, today also marks the 1 year anniversary of my Mums death.

I started the day off with a walk to Mums favorite spot to lay some flowers and mark the time of her death. 07:52.

I finished up working from the beach then drove down to Kerikeri. Said good by to Danielle for a week or so and caught my first flight of the trip.

I have an 11:15 departure out of Auckland so its going to be a long way to get to Washington DC.
