My first full day in DC! I woke up really early. I waited for daylight as walking around DC in the dark is considered… stupid. It was lightly spitting so figured it was a good time for a walk.

10 kms later it was no longer spitting but bucketing down, I got soaked to the bone but got to see a lot of sights while most in the city were still asleep.

After the city walk about I returned to the hotel and lost a few hours with an unscheduled sleep. Lunch was a trip back to a favourite of Danielles, Five Guys. Love their hotdogs and fries.

The afternoon was checkin to the conference and meet the other international guests.
