Day 14 – Broome

Evening all

Today we spent the day around Broome. We got up early to try and get Dan to Church, but the mass had been cancelled. So we had breakfast and had a look around Chinatown.

Met up with the others then headed for Gantheaume point to checkout the lighthouse and Indian Ocean. A pretty cool site!

After this (and when it was too hot to be outside anymore) we headed back to the campground for a swim. We ladies decided to take the opportunity to have our nails done.

Early evening we headed for the beach for our sunset camel ride. Such an interesting experience. Meet Wills our camel:

After dinner at the fancy resort resturant we have all returned and gone directly to bed, it’s been a draining day!

Until tomorrow

Made it out of Fitzroy Crossing around 12.30pm yesterday afternoon. Traveled through quite a bit of flood waters but made it to Broome around 6pm.

Intended to stay in Broome for a day so will do a further update later of our day in Broome.

Until later

Day 5 – Ayres Rock/Uluru to Alice Springs

Day 5 we explored Ayres Rock in the morning before making the final leg up to Alice Springs.
