Nobody likes Monday much, but a Monday that goes on for 42 hours is next level Monday hell. Today is Tuesday morning in Orlando or Wednesday morning in NZ. I am sitting in the Hotel restaurant at 8:30am looking at my laptop clock which reads 2:30am my body feels far more like 2:30am! I managed a decent 8 hour sleep but am still jet lagged. Very glad I Have a day up my sleeve before proper conference activities start tomorrow.

caught the earlier flight up to Kerikeri and got home by 9.30am
This will be the last blog for this trip, which has seen us travel over 8000km, seen 12 million flys (or more), lots of rocks, and plenty of heat. We are happy to be home!

Morning all
We are currently sitting at Auckland Domestic terminal in the lounge waiting for our final flight.
Today we slept in at our fancy hotel after getting to bed after midnight.
We returned to Dan’s cousins before heading out to Hillarys for lunch. Hillarys is a shopping, swimming, resturant area in Perth which was really busy being a Sunday. We didn’t do any swimming, but plenty of shopping.
After returning to where we were staying we headed out to another of Dans Auntys house for a nice dinner.
We drop off the campers tomorrow.

Sorry for the delay!
Friday began early for us. We joined the business folk commuting into town for work. Once in town we found breakfast before the exploring began.
We first had a look around the downtown Jetty but decided against going on a cruise.
After the jetty we caught an Uber up to Kings Park to have a look at all the statues, but got caught up with the view and the war memorials.
After a nice coffee we explored the Botanical Gardens before heading back into the city.
After shopping in the city for a while we headed to Miss Mauds for lunch, a Swedish Pastry house. Such good food!
After more shopping we met up with the guys, who had been at the pub for a while before heading back to where we were staying. Chris managed to get himself a massage, and also new shoes and shirts for the wedding the next day while the girls spent all their money.
Later in the afternoon some of Dans family started arriving for a BBQ with way more meat than we could all eat

We have made it to Perth today!!! Yay
This morning we went out for a fancy breakfast before having a wander around the Geraldton museum, which particularly focused on shipwrecks in the area.
Headed south, stopped at both Jurien Bay and Yanchep for photos and food and interesting stops.
Met up with Dan’s cousin as we got into Perth and staying with another for a couple of nights.
Tomorrow we explore Perth.
